Company Settings

The Company Settings page allows you to manage your organization's core information and configure addresses for route optimization. This is where you can update your billing details and set up starting locations for your technicians.

Overview

Company Settings includes two main sections:

  1. Main Company Information - Your organization's billing address and contact details
  2. Organization Addresses - Additional addresses used for route optimization and technician starting locations

Accessing Company Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar
  2. Click on Company

Main Company Information

Organization Name

Your organization name is displayed at the top of the page. This is the name that will appear throughout the system.

Billing Address

The billing address section contains your primary company address and contact information:

Address Line 1

Your primary street address or building number.

  • Example: "65 Yellow Sky Way"

Address Line 2 (Optional)

Additional address details such as:

  • Suite or unit numbers
  • Building names
  • Floor information

City

The city where your organization is located.

State

Select your state from the dropdown menu.

Zip Code

Your postal/zip code.

Phone (Optional)

Your organization's contact phone number with country code.

Saving Changes

After making any changes to your company information, click the Save button in the bottom-right corner to apply the updates.

Organization Addresses

Organization addresses are used for route optimization and can serve as starting locations for your technicians. This is particularly useful if you have:

  • Multiple office locations
  • Warehouse locations
  • Common meeting points for field technicians

Viewing Addresses

The Addresses section displays a table with all configured addresses showing:

  • Name - A descriptive name for the address (e.g., "Main Office", "Warehouse", "Shop")
  • Address 1 - The street address
  • City - The city location

Use the Columns dropdown to customize which columns are displayed in the table.

Adding a New Address

To add a new organization address:

  1. Click the Add Organization Address button
  2. The "Add Organization Address" dialog will appear

Fill in the Address Details

Name (Required)

  • Give the address a descriptive name
  • Examples: "Main Office", "Warehouse", "North Shop"
  • This helps identify the location when setting up routes

Address Line 1 (Required)

  • Enter the street address

Address Line 2 (Optional)

  • Add suite, unit, or additional location details

City (Required)

  • Enter the city name

State (Required)

  • Select the state from the dropdown menu

Zip Code (Required)

  • Enter the postal/zip code

Country

  • The country field defaults to "USA"

Phone (Optional)

  • Add a contact phone number for this location
  • Select the country code from the dropdown
  1. Click Add Address to save the new address
  2. Or click Cancel to discard changes

Using Addresses for Route Optimization

Once you've added organization addresses, you can use them as:

  • Starting points for technician routes
  • Ending points for technician routes

This helps optimize travel time and ensures efficient scheduling when planning daily routes for your field technicians.

Best Practices

Address Management

  • Keep your addresses up to date to ensure accurate route optimization
  • Use clear, descriptive names for each address

Route Optimization

  • Add all common starting locations for your technicians
  • Consider adding warehouse or supply depot locations
  • Keep addresses current if locations change

Billing Information

  • Ensure your billing address is accurate for invoicing purposes
  • Update your phone number so you can be reached for important notifications
  • Review and save changes after any updates

Tips

  • Multiple Locations: If you operate from multiple locations, add each one as a separate organization address
  • Mobile Technicians: For technicians who work from home, you can add an address near them as organization addresses.
  • Descriptive Names: Use names that clearly identify the purpose or location, such as "Main Office - Downtown" or "Service Center - North"
